NIKHILESHWARANAND

Neither Krishnagopal nor Kali Mother
Or the impersonal Parabramha element
Either father or mother, not even own Brother
To no one this place ever could be lent

In this small altar of my heart
A radiant image which always shines
As if it has never been apart
And within my very soul it confines

Keeping me in constant awareness
Always gesturing with a subtle call
Walking along with a definite closeness
To hold me tight at every fall

Helping to lift me from unrest
Brimming my inner being with knowledge
Waiting patiently as I pass through each test
In His divine transcendental college

Inspiring with His words of wisdom
Encouraging with His flashing grace
He calls me to the “land of freedom”
By breaking shackles of this human race

Love is His final answer
To all the miseries of this life
Deluding attachment’s vicious cancer
He teaches walking on the edge of the knife

Every passing moment for me counts
While He keeps me waiting till that day
Above the brows, in between the mounts
Shall emerge His deific thoughtless ray

Sweeping away all the clatter
Of this transient ephemeral plane
Beyond the realms of mind and matter
Over the rational human brain

Holding that ray, He will make me walk
With bated breath and careful steps
Absorbing me in some speechless talk
In the primordial sound’s tranquil depths

Walking upright on this mystic road
He shall lead me to my final rest
Taking me to His Celestial Abode
Concluding my arduous eternal quest

A fraction of His loving remembrance
Transports to that scene of Karmic Tantra
When under the sky, in Divine trance
I was invigorated by His Gurumantra

Reversing all worldly fears
With a fervent urge I had prayed
Drenched with my uncontrollable tears
“My Life is yours”, this I had said

NIKHILESHWAR is that Blissful name
In my heart’s altar to whom I pray out loud
Oh Nikhileshwaranand! You are the same
Who will clear my ignorance’s cloud.

FIXING THE TOASTER (A Short Story)

Chandu slept as if this was his last sleep, in the air conditioned hotel room. The chilled rose milk left by the Cook Gurubrother last night was the tastiest drink he has ever had, that soothed his soul at its deepest level. He slipped involuntarily into a peaceful slumber.

For Chandu, the last few months had been quite exhaustive, assisting in the preparations for the Sadhana Camp in Baroda City. Traveling to Banaras in MahaShivratri, Jodhpur before Holi and to various nearby places for distribution of pamphlets as a part of the promotional work. On one day, Chandu remembered, he was to visit a nearby town named Dabhoi. It was to coordinate the arrangements for a small public Satsang as an introductory elucidation for the upcoming Sadhana Camp. After finishing his office chores in the first half of the day while he was riding on his scooter, the exhaustion reached to such limits that his hands started trembling. It required a lot of will, mind power and faith to take control of himself. Sometimes, The Guru teaches to act beyond all limitations...Physical too. 'Is this a part of Karma Yoga?’ Chandu wonders.

Just before the Camp was all set to happen and the crucial time came for allotment of the work responsibilities, obviously, the older brothers & sisters were given charges of jobs that more suited their age and temperaments. The twenties age group was waiting with devotion and yet in anxious anticipation of what job shall get assigned to each one of them. All the names were declared and departmentally work was allotted for functioning of the Sadhana Shivir, except Chandu. Lost in thoughts Chandu wondered what’s in store. His last couple of years of spiritual wandering with Gurudev took him to many places which he would never have thought of going in normal course……Delhi, Jodhpur, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Banaras...many Sadhana Camps that has lost count. All these wanderings still remain as the most cherished memories that are destined to last for a lifetime or probably even more. The sweetest and most satisfying of these memories were those occasions when he would run out of money, which used to be quite often….rather always. Why do all Gurus always test the disciples using Money as a tool? Maybe we are too much attached to it. :-) Well, the images that either satisfy or scare a person are the ones which remain a lifetime. Remembering those moments……….when Chandu and friends will run out of all the money and shall survive on sugarcane juice to substitute one time supper OR when two people will share the same rice plate in the train due to no cash left for the second OR when after spending and distributing all the cash in hand they had to wait in front of Standard Charted Bank near Delhi’s Palika Bazar to open, coz it happened to be the only means to receive money against his Credit Card for assisting some of the brothers to go back home......are pleasant indeed; yet, there are some of those memories filled with amusement mixed scare. Though funny, but in Bhopal Ramleela ground those semi-temporary bathrooms definitely can leave an irremovable impression in the minds of the Highest Order of Sadhak, Chandu thought. :-) It offered a challenge to any urban or rural individual to carry his most natural process with the minimum natural resources available. Does it sound abstract??? Ok, to elaborate more precisely, during morning hours every face that exited from those semi-temporary toilets in the Bhopal Ramleela ground with a rusted tin tumbler in one hand, carried a single LOUD expression on his face, "Water was less (pani kam para)". :-D Chandu had thought of this before, that in case he is not offered any specific task during this Sadhana Camp he would rather take up the responsibilities of keeping the toilets clean and ensure adequate supply of water for the Sadhaks. This, he concluded, was an equally important aspect of the Camp as compared to any other task.

So, all names were announced.....finally, the last two names were declared. One of them was Chandu and they were given the task of attending Gurudev and His Family at the Hotel. Wow!!! Those three days that Chandu spent, literally standing in front of the doors of the three rooms occupied by Gurudev remains for him as the most treasured moment of this Life or Lives, who knows? Initially, he thought of slipping away during nights to his home and return back early morning. But a sincere Gurubrother who was accompanying Gurudev from Mumbai gave a simple explanation what best described all, "If you remain near the Hearth you will get Hardened, but if you remain far, the heat may not be able to touch you thus leaving you Undone". These words still resonate in Chandu’s mind as vividly as if just told yesterday. Sure this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and next few days were simply spent 'living a life' in front of Gurudev's 3rd floor rooms in the carpeted lobby of Hotel Alkapuri Express, Baroda.

Well, here actually begins the Story........all this was simply a prelude but was necessary and the Story is quite short anyway. One fine morning, of this three-day life, Gurudev's cook called out to Chandu and requested that he wants to make sandwiches for the family but the toaster is all messed up. Since it was officially considered that these boys attending at the doors are locals, and can troubleshoot or suffice for all possible requirements with their presumably attained and exceeded Siddhis, an innumerable list of requests they confronted during that short-life. It’s another thing that they enjoyed every bit of it even when ending up bitterly failing to produce the desired outcomes a several times. It was only the action and the efforts that mattered, results were secondary..... Practically, THE GITA lived in three days :-)

Alright, so it was approx. 08.00 in the morning and the Cook-Gurubrother wanted to make Sandwiches for Gurudev’s breakfast. Upon thorough inspection of the toaster it was found that the old plug and wires had burnt away and needed a change. Needless to say, he wanted that to be done in a jiffy with the help of his heavenly assistants, with their undeclared supernatural powers. :-) Well, it's surely not supposed to be a difficult task but at this hour and in the sluggish city of Baroda it would be a crime to expect an electrical shop open for signing up a repair contract. Chandu knew it's Impossible. Chandu knew that it's foolishness at this time in the morning to drive down to Rajmahal road and check for any open Electrical Appliances Repair Shop. Yet, in no time was he on his scooter, on the road, with the toaster. "Karmanyevadhikaraste ma phaleshu....". Quite determined to return with a sorry face Chandu drove on. "What shall I do?", "What a crazy task?", "At this hour? Impossible", grunting in his own mind Chandu started driving towards the Railway Station declaring his own defeat to himself.

Suddenly, an idea struck!!! "What does it take to repair a faulty plug?", "Why can't I do it?", "All I need is a new Plug, a Blade and some extra wire. Wow!" Chandu was thrilled with a new thought beaming from nowhere, even though he assessed that finding these items could also be a challenge at this hour. He changed his direction and started looking for any shop that has opened. After some time he luckily drove into a provision store. However, all that he could buy from there was just a blade. He inquired with the shopkeeper if he knew any electrical shops nearby. The shopkeeper guided to check near the railway station. Kicking his faithful LML Vespa scooter Chandu screeched off, raging towards the railway station. His eyes were rolling through the lines of closed shops as he was eagerly looking for any shopkeeper to whom it would have dawned to open his shop of electrical goods. Bingo! There he found one. The shopkeeper did not speak, but simply gestured to wait. The reason was because he had just opened the shop and was doing his routine puja...in Gujarat its called diva-batti. Chandu was getting restless as the time was running out. Reaching late would mean....mean what, he had no idea. Maybe the Gurubrother will cook something else. "But then, what the heck?", "This has to be done", thought Chandu with a determinant firmness. The shop-keeper was really testing his patience. His diva-batti ritual was continuing from one shelf to another to yet another with a never-ending certainty. He requested once again to the shopkeeper, but in vain. "Customer is God, who had said that?” grumbled Chandu in his mind, holding his breath. "Do you know, while you are rotating your smoke sticks to the Gods, THE GOD Himself is waiting for breakfast to be served", Chandu wanted to shout this out, but controlled, as he was matured enough to know that it won't make a point. Like all good things the shopkeeper's rituals came to an end and Chandu bought the needed stuff - A Plug and some electric wire.

Back into the Hotel when Chandu stepped in and CG (Cook Gurubrother) eagerly inquired, Chandu simply said, "I got the parts; just have to fix them together". He settled in the fourth room that was occupied by two of Gurudev's assistants. Chandu used to amuse his mind thinking of them christened as Nandi & Bhringi. J Chandu and friends had been using this room to freshen up during their stay at the Hotel. A thin spoon was discovered to act as a Screw-driver. CG ran in to ask if the job is done....."ya ya, I am just doing it". The wire ends were cut to remove the insulation. Sometimes the blade was used to carry out this act and sometimes the teeth, both synchronizing in rapid harmony. CG rushes back...."Is it over? Gurudev is on the dining table already". "Yes, almost done", Chandu rolled the wire ends and hurried to open the small screws to pop in the rolled ends of the wires. While tightening, sometimes it slipped and the whole process was redone in an impatient fit of haste. Return of CG..."Hey! I need it now.....Is it ready?".”yes yes yes", Chandu slurs and there went the last wire end into the last slot and it gets tightened and here it comes....Completed.

"Huff!”.........there is the last jump of the hero into the water from the exploding island.....there is the last spaceship carrying the hero and escaping from the blasting planet..........there is the last punch of the bruised and exhausted hero that makes him a winner............just the way we see in the movies. Only difference being, people still prefer 'watching' movies than 'living' them. A GURU has his own ways of teaching, Verbal and Non-verbal. Verbal has time limitations, Non-verbal has none....it can extend for 24 hours, "Every Moment is Sadhana". A task that apparently seems to be near to impossible can turn into a different equation and that is actually the process of "Getting Hardened near the Hearth".

Gurudev left after three days and the loving CG had left in the refrigerator, three glasses of rose milk for the three boys who lived for three days attending the three doors of Gurudev's family. That night they slept in Gurudev's room, daring not to occupy the bed which GURUDEV & MATAJI had used and delighted to use the floor. Next morning Chandu got up early, took a bath and was ready coz the room had to be checked out. It was the bright day of 31st March 1998.

Pujya Gurudev

In the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan state of India there lived a woman who was known all around for her gentleness and very good conduct. Once, Lord Narayan appeared to her in all his brightness and said, “Good lady, in a week’s time from now I’ll be born as your child. Please name him Narayan ok !”. What the lord told the woman in her dream came true. The woman brought a luminous child to bed.

The twenty first day of the month of April 1933 dawned in new redness and with joy for everyone. The villagers were singing & dancing. It seemed nature herself, overwhelmed with joy, spreading streaks of divine light all over. In short, an atmosphere of welcome to a great godly event had mystically emerged. Amidst all this a child is born, at 10:21 in the morning. Father Pandit Multan Chand Shrimali and mother Rupa Devi are struck by a happy, surprise and named the baby “Narayan”.

Narayan goes growing up. His activities show sign of divinity and extraordinary powers. Right on the twenty seventh days after his birth a big snake spreads its hood over the child’s head and hisses. Frightened the mother, she prays to the snake to leave her child and the divine serpent moves away wriggling. The hindu faith accepts this serpent episode as an indication that the child is virtually divinity

Param Pujay Gurudev Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali Ji

The child’s education begins. His maternal uncle Ram Sukhaji, who is deeply learned in the Yajurveda, teaches him. He is put to school too. At the age of 5 or 6 he learns the tenets of the Vedas & the Puranas and comits hundreds of holy and philosophical verses to memory. He begins to practice Samadhi. His intellectual and spiritual sharpness astonish the people around. He is benign to all and loves even animals & birds. For all the virtues, he gets known to the village as the ‘saint child’ and is loved by all.

One day he was returning from school, on the way he saw a house on fire. The burning house had a child inside it. The mother of the child was crying for her baby calling out for help. Amidst a big crowd, no one present there dared to run into the house to rescue the child. When the school boy Narayan understands the situation, he hastens into the high flames at the risk of his life and comes safely back with the child in his arms. Narayan is badly injured and it takes him fifteen days in hospital to recover.

It was not an event for an event’s safe; it was something that truly sheds light on one aspect of his extraordinary and charismatic personality. He did what an ordinary human cannot do. For this and several other benign acts this boy got transformed into great spiritual teacher that was Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali, who threw himself into flaming fire for saving all humanity and each human individual.

Changes of time made material progress dominant over spiritual endowment. People began to see perfection of life in luxury and physical comfort. Consequently, began to suffer and hue and cry prevailed. Achievements in science & technology brought physical facilities and material resources but failed to provide spiritual peace & happiness.

Relieving men & women from troubles & traumas and bringing them to the right path of life became inevitable. But to do this was quite beyond ordinary human power. Mother Earth wanted some one with extraordinary power who could lead the entire suffering humanity in the right direction. It is for this that the great Dr Narayan Dutt Shrimali was born as an incarnation of God.

The great preceptor (Gurudev) is in fact, the Mahayogi, Paramhansa Swami Nikhileshwaranand of Siddhashram, and this is his eternal individual entity. Siddhashram is a divine place where one can go to only on having attained spiritual perfection. It is somewhere in the vicinity of the great lake Mansarovar and the holy Kailash peak in the Himalayas . The place is, however cannot be seen with physical eyes nor can it be reached by using a scientific equipment. There is, of course, one medium the spiritual height you have attained. The person who manages this place is the great venerable Swami Satchidananda Maharaj and Paramhansa Swami Nikhileshwaranand is his most beloved disciple. It is from this place that a nice balance is struck between materialism and spiritualism. When the balance goes bad, divine souls are sent down to the earth. It was in consonance with this master scheme that great holy personages like Ram, Krishna , Guru Gorakh Nath, and Sankharacharya got incarnated. In this Iron Age, the materialism spiritualism balance went off and swami Nikhileshwaranand was born.

At the age of 12 Gurudev married Bhagvati. Even after his marriage he continued his studies and also started teaching. But this ordinary way of life did not satisfy him. “My life is not only for my family, for earning my livelihood, for employment, it’s for high attainments and for the world”, he thought. From his very childhood he was interested in delving into cores of subjects such as mantra, tantra, dhyan (meditation), yoga, sammohan (hypnotism), palmistry, astrology and Ayurveda and reveal the ultimate truths inherent in them to the inquisitive world. He would ask himself questions such as – Do mantra tantra and the like have powers ? “If they do, how can I achieve the powers and use them for the good of the society?” He knew that life bound to the family would not help and that the great saints & sages who visualized the truths of ancient learning had done so by performing tapasya (penance) in the access remote dales caves in the Himalayan forests. So he decided to quit home and banish himself into the forest. He was at that time working as a teacher and living happily with his parents and his beautiful and gentle wife. In spite of this he chose the life of Sanayas, which, of course, is full of pains and struggles. Thus he decided to sacrifice his own pleasures for the happiness of mankind.

He began a hard and challenging trek over the deep jungles of the Himalayas , looking earnestly for saints performing tapasya in the stony caves. His only purpose was to get the sages and obtain from them mystic and elemental knowledge. By his undaunted and unceasing efforts he succeeded in quenching his thirst for knowledge of the truths. The saints from whose darshan he benefited were Swami Purnananda, Trijata Aghori, Swami Prabhupada, Kinkar Baba, Naga Baba and others. In the course of his quest tours he had also came to Nepal and obtained mystic knowledge from Babas like Bhurbhuwa Baba, Pagala Baba, Tringker Swami and Kamarupa Baba.

It was on this Sanayas tour he met the great guru Swami Satchidananda, and he regards this as the greatest achievement of his life. During the tour he thoroughly studied all the subjects such as mantra, tantra, dhyan, yoga, sammohan, astrology, palmistry, Ayurveda. Chemistry & solar science, investigated into their scientific aspects to see how man can benefit from the findings. He assimilated all the knowledge and obtaining the blessings of his great guru, he returned home and became a grihastha (entered into family life) again.

For the great venerable Gurudev, who had lived long on open ground under the blue sky, it was in all ways difficult to return to family life but he did so. Gurudev was sorry that the invaluable learning which the sages, our ancestors had treasured by efforts of thousands of years was about to go extinct the posterity kept them withheld. To reach the knowledge and learning out to the society, it was imperative for him to live as part of it. That is why he chose to return to the society. Divine souls set every step and do every work for the welfare of the world.

He disproved the so-called social acceptance that to be a spiritual one needs to quit home by marrying the venerable Bhagvati Shrimali. Despite his conjugal life at home he remained spiritually active. He has unfolded the mystic knowledge of Bharatvarsh through books, camps, lectures and deeksha. Through out his life he worked for human welfare by rising above psycho social complexes concerning ethnicity, communalism, religion and nationality.

He started his work with the study of astronomy. He explained the theories and methods of this ancient science of Bharatvarsh, rendering them easily comprehensible. It is particularly for this that he is counted as the topmost astronomer of the world. He has rejuvenated the system of mantra and tantra, sadhana practice. It is by his continued contributions that practice areas like palmistry, sammohan, Ayurveda, chemistry, dhyan, yoga, have regained popularity and interest in mystic studies like solar science, paravigyan, kriya yoga and kundalini shakti have revived.

He has analyzed the tenets of these studies, which are formulated in difficult sanskrit verses, in a scientific aspects in easy language. The proofs which he has given will greatly help men to solve their material problems and attain spiritual heights.

Pujyapad Gurudeva thus restored the invaluable treasure of ancient learning and scholarship for the welfare of mankind. When he saw that the society was getting gradually westernized at the cost of its glorious ancient heritage he left no stone unturned to revive and rehabilitate the society’s intellectual spiritual heritage, including the mantra and tantra practices in its original and undefined form. In this connection he has published a monthly magazine with the title “Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan”, which, of course, has earned a special place in the world of spiritualism. He has at the same time, established the "International Siddhashram Sadhak Pariwar” and thus perpetuated the glorious “gurukul tradition”. He has given top most priority to producing excellent disciplines. He says, “A live disciple is a living book which will enlighten the age to come”

Perfection of life consists in a true balance of spirituality and materialism. That was what Gurudeva pursued as his ideal, and in that his material life was all perfect. Father of three sons and two daughters, he lived a successful grihastha life. He had earned M.A. degree in Hindi from Rajasthan University and the Ph. D. in the same subject from the university of Jodhpur, where he later served as the head of the department of Hindi. Many people had the honor of being his students at the university. He had a command of many languages.

Getting excellence in a particular field of learning needs whole life time. The great guru, alone, succeeded in re establishing the whole body of ancient learning in all its perfection, which proves that he was not an ordinary human.

However, for all that he did he had to suffer on his head from the ignorant society and the hypo critic clergy (religious officials). He was accused, insulted and divided,. There were even conspiracies against him.

Gurudeva who endeavored to enlighten the world was himself smudged. The people only viewed him as mere flesh and blood but did not see the divinity he wore. They see him just as a scholar, writer and astronomer. It is not under the power of an ordinary human to recognize a singular person. There were however some people and institutions who knowingly or unknowingly, paid him their respect.

In the year 1982, the then president of India Dr. B.D. Jatti conferred on him the title of “Mahamaopadhyaya” and in 1988 the Mantra Sansthan of Ujjain honored him with the title “Mantra Siromani”. And in 1989, Dr. Sanker Dayal Sharma, the Vice President of India decorated him with the title “Samaj Siromani”. And in 1991, during his Nepal visit for “Vishvashanti Mahayagya and Shivalaxmi Sadhana Shivir” the then Prime Minister of Nepal Krishna Prasad Bhattarai had specially felicitated and honored him on behalf of Nepal . Similarly in 1992 Sir Jagannath Anirudra, prime minister of Mauritias, honoured him with the title “Jagat guru” and in 1993 a temple of gurudev was inaugurated.

Pujyapad Gurudev made every moment of his life meaningful, eventful and human welfare oriented. He taught the society the lesson of love and fraternity and called it to fight superstition and narrow mindedness. He lifted men and women from luxuries of life and pleasures of the world enticed them to sadhana and tapasya. He has also softened the rigours of sadhana and tapasya with the sweetness of music and dance. He has thus, shown that one could achieve spiritually and achieve godlines even along living in the life of grihastha.

Having performed all the tasks, which God had assigned him and living the future responsibilities on the shoulders of his disciples, the great guru departed from the world at early daybreak on July 3, 1998 . He had told his disciples that his last day on earth had come. He had also told them his body should be given a very simple funeral and that the news of his demise should remain undelivered through the media. We salute our beloved Jagadguru again and again hundreds of times.

Now he is present in the universe as Paramhansa Swami Nikhileshwerananda Ji (Gurudeva) and providing guidance to his disciples for the welfare of the people. The disciples get his darshan during their dhyan, Sadhana, and dreams, even they see and feel his presence and can talk to him about their problems and concerns. Any body those who have been performing sadhana can get his darshan, feel his presence and talk to him. One can experience and feel about Gurudeva, who has achieved the height of Sadhana and devotion, through this one can know about invaluable things of the universe also.

It is not possible to venture describing the work done by him in the article. He has done so much work, even that could not be done by thousands of organizations together, the title ‘man of the age’ even seems less to him. In short, during his stay on earth he concentrated about two things: (1) to visualize the truths of ancient invaluable learning which had treasured by our ancestors, and (2) to prepare real great disciples to do every work for the welfare of the world.

His main goal was to make a real spiritual age on earth, to accomplish this task he has been providing guidance as Paramhansa Swami Nikhileshwerananda Ji for the welfare of the people of the world. Gurudev was born not for a particular nation of religion but for the mankind as a whole. The day will come when mankind will know this.

May the good prevail.

When ever righteousness declines and unrighteous grows strong, oh Arjun, I come upon earth”

-Shree Krishna

Today the world is torn with discontent, corruption and inhumanity, and no one knows what the future of the human world will be ultimately like. The world therefore needs a power, which can fight out these evils and restore the peace, good will and co-operation that it has by and large lost. This power can be generated in a centre where divine energy will work to produce spirituals capable of reshaping the world by striking a nice balance between spiritual attainment and material progress.

Hindu scriptures tell of an omnipotent centre, Siddhashram, to which even gods and goddesses would be lured and for admission to which unlimited sadhana would be the only qualification.

There must be a similar power centre a siddhashram, on earth. So thought Swami Satchidanada a long time ago. He created the siddhashram, the activities wherein were guided and supervised first by saints and celestials and then by divines such as Swami Nikhileshwerananda

Sadguru Vani

You are as you are because you want to be so. If you want to be different in life then start changing yourself today.

The mind of the Sadhak is like the tree Kalptaru that fulfils all wishes. The thoughts that rise in the mind can be converted into power of the soul. If the mind of the Sadhak is full of fearlessness, hope, confidence and kindness then he gets all boons in life. But if he becomes afraid of adverse circumstances then he loses confidence and destroys his own chances of success.

Devotion to God does not mean giving up things. Devotion means the flowering of all one's capabilities. True religion never tells a person to give up worldly duties. Religion asks a person to get rid of mental disturbance, moral wrongs and ignorance.

Sadhana means toiling hard from morning till evening. Just chanting of Mantras is not Sadhana.

There is no more a happy person than a Sadhak in this world. A common person is ignorant. Ignorance leads to egotism. Egotism generates fear. Fear leads to confusion. Confusion is there because man has many wishes. And most wishes are there because man desires pleasure. It is due to indulgence in pleasures that a person develops traits. It is due to these traits that a person has to take birth again and again and has to suffer sorrows and pain.

For becoming fully happy one has to cut the roots of ignorance, egotism and confusion with the help of the means prescribed by the Guru.

Prayers and speaking out one's feelings to the Lord is a medium of making the mind pure. It helps get rid of evil thoughts.

One should not hide anything from the Guru. One should speak out everything to him. The Sadguru knows everything. Still one should speak out everything because this helps to get rid of the evil thoughts within. One should admit all faults and mistakes before the Lord.

You might live anywhere but you are my disciple if you are devoted to service to the Guru and performing Sadhanas.

If along with pure feelings for the Guru you are also devoted to Sadhanas then I can change your future.

What is Mantra?

Guru is a guide who can understand all one's problems and suggest Mantras with the help of which one could get rid of all problems.

Mantra is a divine combination of divine syllables or sounds which when chanted with devotion, faith and emotion gravitate the concerned God or Goddess or deity and secure their divine blessings. For divine help one must link with divine forces but majority of humans are unaware of these forces and have no link whatsoever. But when an individual starts chanting Mantra related to a particular deity regularly the gap between him and the concerned divine force steadily decreases. By regular use of Mantra a subtle link is formed and through this one could then obtain any desired boon within the power of the deity. One could obtain wealth, prosperity, fame, fearlessness, success and spiritual upliftment, but for each a different Mantra is chanted and a different deity propitiated.

A Mantra is a special set of words through only that particular deity could be summoned. If I write or speak in Chinese you won't be able to understand and my words will not produce any effect. But if I speak the language you know its effect shall be with doubt. Praying to these deities in one's language won't help much but if one uses the words that they can understand the result shall be instant.

These words are the Mantras evolved by Rishis and Yogis who actually prepared them and used them to prove their worth. Over the ages these have helped thousands of Sadhaks achieve even that which appeared impossible to them. Within doubt that whose chanting fulfils one's wish is a Mantra.

Real benefits of Tantra

Tantra is basically the source of energy and if you master this science, you can easily conquer your materialistic obstacles, other persons can be influenced by you and their activities can be channelised according to your own will. The harmful effects of planets, influences of an evil eye and evil spirits can be removed. It is also helpful as a remedy of mental tension, unbearable pain and other physical and psychological ailments. The scope of Tantra is very wide including Vashikaran, Maran, Ucchattan, Hypnotism, Divine Vision etc., which in many ways are beneficial in modern life.

In fact, Tantra leads to the path of self surrender and it pertains to all the aspects of physical and parapsychological life. Life, a divine gift bestowed upon by the Almighty can be fully purposeful by regenerating one's inner creative faculties and giving 'Karma', a predominant role in our lives and this is the genesis of life's purposefulness and success.

An unchallenged master of Tantra himself, Gurudev's Sadhana discourses often pivoted on this science and he once said :

"One who fears Tantra cannot be a human ; and a Sadhak he never can be. In the times of Guru Gorakhnath Tantra was a much respected science popular in all stratas of society for it has in it solutions to all problems of life.

Actually Mantra is a prayer, it is a request put to the concerned deity to help one. But it is not necessary that the deity shall be moved by one's plea. On the other hand if one uses Tantra one could compel the divine power to help. Tantra in fact is a guarantee that the concerned deity shall without fail have to shower its blessings.

A prayer may fail to touch the heart of the deity but Tantra forces it to grant the desired boon. The Sadhanas in Tantra and Mantra methods might appear similar yet Tantra is a thousand fold more powerful and unfailing.

Tantra gains all the more significance in the present times when every person has no spare time on hands. One cannot be expected to devote several hours each day to long Sadhana procedures. Today every one wishes for instant success and Tantra sure can bring it ; for Tantra means performing a Sadhana by a special meticulous procedure. Nothing is left to chance and all aspects are taken care of, so that success is sure and instant.

Still if due to human weakness some imperfection creeps into the Sadhana or Mantra chanting there are no negative results as is often (wrongly) believed by most people. Only result shall be that the desired wish shall not be fulfilled, but then one could try again.

Tantra is a jewel of the Sadhana world that can solve quickly and effectively all problems of human life like poverty, misery, unhappy married life, being childless, jobless, failure in business or health and so on. To resort to Tantra means adopting a sure way to success."

How tantra became a taboo?

What then happened in between that has made Tantra a taboo today ?

Perusal of the past reveals that after Gorakhnath pseudo gurus like Bhayanand started the misuse of Tantra and thus got introduced vile practices like meat eating, sex and money spinning into the system. These false Tantriks not just used these rather expounded that without them success is impossible in field of Tantra. These unconscientious one's even stooped so low as to resort to drinking, rape and swindling.

It was then but natural for the common man to keep distance from such practicers who were unfortunately more in number than real masters of Tantra. Soon society began to shun Tantra and a belief was generated that Tantra itself is a vile practice and has no useful applications in life.

But the problem was not with Tantra rather with the charlatans who used Tantra as an excuse to give vent to their beastly cravings. In fact Tantra is a science that can instill totality in life. A question may arise that when there are Mantras to procure divine blessings why do we need Tantra?

Wise and capable persons do not come to their conclusions in a moment, but only after a careful analysis of any thing. When the left wing of Tantra got predominant and those, who were keen to do these leftist Sadhnas for their petty and selfish ends, did not get success, they turned into big critics of Tantra and only those persons created misconceptions about Tantra.

Apart from this, the British education and Moghal's culture had an attack on the fundamental elements of Indian society i.e. religious rites, Mantra, Tantra etc. They were aware of the fact that this great science of Vedas, Upnishads and Mantras was responsible for the highly elevated Indian culture, so they thought that if they circulated misconceptions against this science, the Indian people would spontaneously become slaves and unfortunately they succeeded in their evil mission. It should be remembered that psychological subjugation is more dangerous than physical one and this was the mental dependence which caused our deterioration from the heights of prosperity.

Confidentiality in Tantra

In our ancient scriptures, there is great emphasis on the fact that the real Tantra should be kept confidential. What is the reason behind this secrecy? If this science has got usefulness, it should be popularised and propagated everywhere, every person should have its knowledge. But this is not the case. What is the reason behind it?

The real Tantra and its secrets were passed on verbally by the competent Guru to his disciples only. The disciples memorised that science and also got realisation of 'Siddhi' but the Guru got his disciples to promise that this knowledge would be granted to only those who really deserved it. So they had this relevant argument behind their secrecy. As I have written above that every action has equal and opposite reaction. For example if you disturb anyone - tease a dog, bull or snake, it will certainly attack you. You should have strength to fight them and ultimately bring them under your control. The same is true for Tantra. If a suspicious, weak and fearful person starts Tantra Sadhna, he on experiencing some distress or crisis, generally leaves it midway and thus puts himself in danger due to reversible reaction of the Sadhna because at that moment the inner energy of the aspirant is feeble and so is easily overpowered by the external forces. This is the reason why only a competent Guru is capable to impart the knowledge of Tantra. A Guru minutely and completely analyses the disciple and on getting assured that his disciple would never misuse that power, he starts teaching Tantra Sadhna. Immediately after getting success, the aspirant becomes very much energetic and his vigorous activities must be utilised for public welfare as well as for Self Realisation and not for causing harm to others.

Due to the afore mentioned reasons, the methods of Tantra Sadhnas have been written incompletely, or in symbols and one, who performs Sadhna according to what is written in scriptures can never be successful as the complete knowledge can be attained only through the guidance of a Guru.

Tantra is fearless

The notions of an ordinary person about Tantra are not worthy to mention as this science of power has been misused very much. Those who are quite conversant with Tantra, by awakening their internal cosmic faculties, acquire knowledge to progress ahead and by activating the internal Chakras become ultimately successful in attaining Self realisation and thereby Supreme Bliss, whereas the imperfect Tantriks focus their attention towards the leftist part which hitherto has been utilised by such Tantriks in causing pain and harm to others and in achieving sensual enjoyment. Thus they involve themselves in a wrong direction. Although they can cause damage to the common men, yet eventually such Tantriks undergo severe sufferings and their lives get highly miserable.

This is human nature that every person focuses his attention first on the bad aspect of any subject and not on the virtuous one. This attitude proves harmful to them. As I have said earlier that Tantra is a process of activating internal cosmic faculties of the invisible world and making them favourable for oneself. During this process, that vigorous energy at first affects the person who is trying to overpower it and if at that time the aspirant does not get frightened, the divine energy itself behaves like a slave and then performs all the miraculous deeds at the will of the aspirant. To explain further I am citing an illustration- If you go outside during winter without wearing woollen clothes, what will happen? The frozen particles of cold wave will fall violently upon you and you will fall sick. But in case you are totally prepared- you have a healthy physique covered with woollen clothes, cold cannot affect you in any way and you will proceed ahead without any fear. The same is the case with Tantra. If you are not afraid, have the required equipment and also a sound knowledge then Tantra is the easiest way for you to acquire the divine powers.

To emerge successful in Tantra, fearlessness as well as elevation of inner consciousness are absolutely essential because in this Sadhana, the power is to be evolved from within.

The Concept of TANTRA

A hypothesis and the principles derived out of it make the rock bottom of any systemised knowledge. When the same principle is ascertained as law, it is rendered the form of pure science. Now it is clear that science is the knowledge brought under general principles through minute analysis and experimentation.

Tantra is an eminent science having thousands of principles. In fact, it is the system of our life and a science of practice and practical knowledge. Through Tantra, we can attain superb powers by attracting and deriving the divine faculties pervading the entire cosmos. The aspirant of Tantra makes his internal capacity sharp and intensely forceful just like a magnet. This science is the process of activating the various dormant vital glands and Chakras of the astral form, present inside the human body. It makes us aware of the truth that a person can get liberation from his own subjugation, can achieve immense power and even with the physical body present, can free himself from his body and expand his faculties infinitely.

Each and every element of the nature is associated with the other. Every action has a definite basis and for that action, there also exists an equal and opposite reaction. This uninterrupted succession of atomic process is going on in our atmosphere. Formation of water vapours, rain from the clouds due to attraction between positively and negatively charged atoms, storms, tempest and earthquakes, all are interrelated to each other.

Tantra is the process of intensification of our peculiar inner potentialities so that we can command this atomic arrangement which in other words is known as 'Siddhi'. The flow of energy is going on ceaselessly in the environment and when your own inner energy becomes capable of influencing the external ones, nothing will remain impossible for you and this is the science of Tantra in which the aspirant's wish is first and foremost.

GYANGUNJ,DIVINE HERMITAGE

GYANGUNJ, also known as SIDDHASHRAM, is a (at a Metaphysical Plane) in The Himalayas.

Life is a Mysterious Journey. In the course of our travel through this unforeseen & unpredictable link of events, we are confronted with newer and deeper secrets about both the Inner and the Outer World. It has always attracted the spirits of the chosen few, who have dared to explore and unravel the hidden principles governing this vast cosmos through time immemorial. Their endeavors and understanding have not only helped in establishing a harmonious environment for mankind, but has challenged every human being to break through one's limited consciousness and merge into the universal source of knowledge, illumination, bliss, truth... whatever we name that state of "Namelessness".

The Indian subcontinent has been blessed to become the sprouting ground and has witnessed the conscious play of innumerable divine souls during their tenure on this cosmic plane. No wonder every such personality has always taken a newer and fresher course of actions to put forth their purpose and accomplish the same.

We are here to share/exchange our thoughts, feelings and experiences in order to search a new outlook towards Life, its purpose, its direction and the means to tread towards that goal in Harmony with the Nature/Cosmos (The needed spiritual privacy be maintained).

~~~ Inspired By a Divine Soul from GYANGUNJ, whose Love and Compassion greeted this planet in the later half of 20th Century, PARAM PUJYA SADGURUDEV DR.NARAYAN DUTT SHRIMALI (PARAMHANS SWAMI NIKHILESHWARANAND)
